• Calgary, a thriving city, lies between these prairies and the Canadian rocky mountains to the west with a short drive to beautiful snow capped mountains or endless fields at anytime
• The prairie region has a neutral climate, with milder winters and warm, pleasant summers. It is a mostly dry region with little precipitation at any time of year. It has the most sunny days per year of any large city in Canada
• Both casting and talent are available in Calgary and talent can also easily travel from Vancouver, readily available via 1.5 hour flight
• Crew & equipment needs can be found locally for small and medium scale productions, large scale needs can be supplemented from Vancouver
